Unocoin hacked, Bitcoins stolen, all user logins frozen

Unocoin, India’s largest Bitcoin wallet has been hacked and reportedly a few users has lost 0.25 BTC.

At the time of writing, Unocoin has frozen all transactions and user accounts to protect their users’ Bitcoins.

Update: 7th Aug 2017 – Unocoin has promised to refund the stolen bitcoins to the users who were affected.

Our recommendation to Unocoin users is to make sure that you activate 2FA (2 factor authentication) using Google Authenticator on Unocoin once your account access is restored.
